Ak-tas, founded in Istanbul in 1989, supplies numerous petrochemicals from prominent global producers and distributes bulk or packaged chemicals to various sectors in Turkey and neighbouring countries.
Ak-tas uses its tank terminals in Turkey (Aktas Tank Terminal-Izmit and Aktas Yumurtalık Tank Terminal-Adana) and in Greece (AKFA Tank Terminal-Chalkida-Evia) to store chemicals, primarily solvents. The company has also storage areas in many regions of Turkey to be able to distribute drummed and packaged chemical products without interruption.
Ak-tas is ranked the 308th company in Fortune 500 Turkey List with its solo 2016 results and the 279th company with its solo 2017 results. The company strongly aims to preserve and strengthen its position as one of the leading exporters in Turkey, particularly into markets in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, CIS countries and the US.
Ekin Kimya was established in Istanbul in 1995 and is one of Turkey’s major companies that supply high-quality chemical products to Turkey and neighbouring countries. Aktas acquired Ekin Kimya in 1998 to expand its operations to diversified sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, lube oil, and medical/diagnostic products. Thus, Aktas took a strategic step on the road to widening its current fields of operation and product portfolio.
Today, Ekin Kimya also carries out product development projects as well as sectoral trainings and workshops at the group facility located in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GEBKIM). The company has a portfolio of about 5,500 products and 700 customers.

Established in Istanbul in 2013 in partnership between T Dinamik A.Ş. and the Greek Egnatia Group, the company’s primary area of activity is installation of solar energy power plants. Tegnatia provides high-quality services in the areas of project development for medium- and large-scale solar power projects, turnkey installation (EPC) and long-term maintenance and repair services. In various regions of Turkey, it has realized development and licensing of solar energy projects with a total capacity of 107 MW; in addition, it has also successfully completed installation of solar power plants with a capacity of 186 MW which are currently in operation.
Established in Greece in 1989, Egnatia Group operates in the area of construction and engineering services. It has carried out installation of solar power plants with a capacity exceeding 700 MW in Europe, Asia and the USA, and storage projects in excess of 100 MW.
WhiteChem SA was established as a trade company in Geneva, Switzerland, for the purpose of developing import-export operations of the group in petrochemicals and to open up to new markets.
The company supplies and distributes numerous petrochemicals needed as inputs in several industries, especially special and licensed bulk chemicals. The company adds an important value to group operations with its office right in the centre of Europe and much closer to prominent manufacturers.
WhiteChem has succeeded in maintaining long-term and strong commercial ties with major producers like Versalis SPA (ENI Group-Italy), Rompetrol, Lucite, LG Chem, INEOS, and OMV Petrom. The company also gained the right to be the authorized distributor of premium base oils of Chevron, primarily in Turkey and neighbouring countries, through an agreement signed with Chevron Belgium N.V. at the end of 2015.
This agreement also made WhiteChem one of the 15 hubs around the world for these products.
